FAQ

1. What difference is there between an apartment and a studio?

An apartment has a lounge with a sofa-bed, a kitchen and an independent bedroom, while a studio has a kitchen + bedroom + dining area in the same open-plan area. Both options have a fully equipped kitchen and full bathroom with a hair dryer and shower or bathtub.

2. What features does the kitchen have?

The kitchens in our studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments are almost identical in terms of furnishings and equipment: fridge-freezer, microwave, glass-ceramic cooker, toaster, kettle, blender, full kitchenware (pots, pans, grill, cutlery, glassware and different cooking utensils). Furthermore, you can ask for more services for free in reception, including a small coffee machine or phone chargers.

3. Is there a cleaning service?

A daily cleaning service is included in the price of the room you have chosen. This service is undertaken by qualified staff at the hotel. It is a service similar to a conventional hotel, except it excludes kitchenware, which must be cleaned by the guest. Sheets and towels will be changed every three days.

4. Is the establishment near the beach?

Aparthotel Bahía is 500 metres from Villananitos Beach in Lo Pagán. This magnificent, sandy beach on Mar Menor can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot. The journey is almost entirely flat. 800 metres away you will find La Puntica Beach, which is another exclusive sandy area of Mar Menor. The Mediterranean beaches are 2500 metres away. Our establishment is a luxurious place between two seas.

5. Does the establishment have a swimming pool?

Aparthotel Bahía does not have this facility but our guests can enjoy the swimming pool and sun terrace on the 5th floor of Hotel Traiña****, which is the other hotel that forms a part of the Bahía-Traiña Hotel Group. It is right next to our aparthotel. Furthermore, you can enjoy a cocktail, soft drink or ice cream here alongside great views.

6. How does reception at the aparthotel work?

Our reception is open 24 hours a day, offering guests greater comfort and flexibility. On certain dates reception tasks may be performed at Hotel Traiña, which can be contacted by telephone directly from your apartment. On these dates, there will always be a night receptionist at the aparthotel for your safety.

7. Where can we eat?

In addition to the buffet restaurant at Hotel Traiña**** serving Mediterranean cuisine at affordable prices (from €10.95 per adult, drinks not included), the aparthotel is situated in a highly commercial area, meaning you will find numerous restaurants just a few metres away. These offer daily set menus, à la carte menus, tapas, pizza, Asian cuisine...

8. Are cots available at the aparthotel?

We have travel cots with a customised mattress, sheets and blankets available to ensure your baby feels at home (please request these when you make your booking).

9. Are the sofa-beds comfortable?

All sofa-beds at our aparthotel were recently replaced in search of comfort and space. As such, all one- and two-bedroom apartments have a new sofa-bed of 1.4x1.9m with a foam mattress.

10. Does my apartment or studio have a terrace?

For an additional fee, and subject to availability at the aparthotel, you can stay in a studio or one-bedroom apartment with terrace.

11. Does the aparthotel offer internet?

There is a free WiFi connection available in all communal areas, apartments and studios. Please ask for the password in reception.

12. Does the establishment have a car park?

For an additional fee you can use one of 12 parking spaces in our garage. However, with the exception of high season, you can easily park your vehicle in the area around the aparthotel.
